It all started with a $2 find at the FleaMarket one day. Mariah liked this little item I had no idea what we would do with it. It sat around collecting dust for while of course, then I started thinking, she was always looking for a place to keep all her make-up and things…so there the idea began! Of course it has to be covered in all sorts of jewels and trinkets with sparkly things. The project began in the hot heat of the Summer, just to get some projects started. The little AC that really didn’t cool the place done all that well, unless I had all 5 fans on high as well….you know it was hot….so starting the project was the beginning. Posting a few pics as I find them on my cell phone to show each step of the way to this unique treasure I am making for my daughter’s eventual MAKE-UP and thingy-things. It is a labor of love. I hope she will cherish it for years to come once I am finished with it and it is presented to her.
September 15th, 2023 A whole year later Update: ….it’s still a work in progress as all my greatest work is!! This is probably one of my Favorite pieces so far. It is getting HEAVY too!…and that’s without using any grout yet. Will update with more pictures as we go. Stop into the Studio and come see this project yourself and START ONE of your own!
