Mariah’s Studio is starting 321Fun ART CLUB!

Mariah and I are opening the doors to our Lil She Shop Studio to have a monthly ART CLUB. We haven’t even had our Grand Opening to Mariah’s Studio as of yet, but wanted to get the word out to our local Community that we are OPEN for FUN & ART Creating!! Mariah is calling it: 321Fun Art Club

Because we are a quaint 350 sqft Studio we can only accommodate 1-5 Creative Artist at a time frame. So we have to do a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. A second CLUB DAY could open up if the interest is there. Mariah’s Studio will be setting up classes as well.

We are currently SELLING the STEPPING STONE KITS with extra paZaZZeL glass, beads, jewelry shiny items or our break-a-plate that you can purchase to add to your Uniquely made Mosaic Stepping Stone Kit. Prices Range depending on which size stepping stone kit you choose and what additional extras added.

Debut Art Classes @Mariah’s Studio

Feb 2023 is our 2 year anniversary Mariah and I found and have been fixing up’ n working in Our lil She Shop Studio. Along with cleaning, painting, fixing, we’ve been working the weekly FleaMarket while Mariah plays her Musical instruments out front, meeting lots of nice people.

With the 2023 New Year, it’s more than time to have our DEBUT ART CLASSES for all to come and Celebrate with us and see the progress of our cute little FUN ART & MUSIC PLACE in Floral City!

Sorting Sea Shells 🐚

Simple things to keep her busy!!! I clean and shift thru stuff and move and dump and scrape and create and glue and fix and flush and scrub and sweep and paint and nail and cut and move and saw and sing 🎶 and dance and redirect and snap a picture here and there.☺️

We are still taking donations of SHELLS 🐚 for some projects we will be working on.

Making a Fancy Make-Up Box for Mariah

It all started with a $2 find at the FleaMarket one day. Mariah liked this little item I had no idea what we would do with it. It sat around collecting dust for while of course, then I started thinking, she was always looking for a place to keep all her make-up and things…so there the idea began! Of course it has to be covered in all sorts of jewels and trinkets with sparkly things. The project began in the hot heat of the Summer, just to get some projects started. The little AC that really didn’t cool the place done all that well, unless I had all 5 fans on high as well….you know it was hot….so starting the project was the beginning. Posting a few pics as I find them on my cell phone to show each step of the way to this unique treasure I am making for my daughter’s eventual MAKE-UP and thingy-things. It is a labor of love. I hope she will cherish it for years to come once I am finished with it and it is presented to her.

September 15th, 2023 A whole year later Update: ….it’s still a work in progress as all my greatest work is!! This is probably one of my Favorite pieces so far. It is getting HEAVY too!…and that’s without using any grout yet. Will update with more pictures as we go. Stop into the Studio and come see this project yourself and START ONE of your own!

Little Set Backs Create Bigger Future Dreams!

Unexpected Heart Surgery in November 2021 put a hold on all things to do with working on our Lil She Shop Studio for a bit. The surgery went well and Citrus Memorial Hospital was a Fabulous Place just down the road to take care of me and fix me all up. Doctor Bao T. Hoang did my Mitral Valve Repair with a ring placed around my Mitral Valve to reinforce it even better. Dr. Hoang did the surgery from under my right side rib cage area, not via center sternum, which from the side entry shortened my healing time by months!! I am AMAZED & BLESSED to have been so lucky to be living in a place that has such a gifted and talented Heart Surgeon located, 2 actually…just down the road from where I live! Dr. Hoang’s Associate is well know here and has been serving local Citrus County residents for well over 16 years, Doctor Peter Kim. together, both Surgeons are a BLESSING to Citrus County and to me absolutely! My daughter, Mariah and I can now move forward with living out our dream of starting our lil She Shop Studio to Create and Play Music and Create Art, Meet People and have some ART HEALING not only for us to enjoy, but to those all around us. We are excited to get going with our FRESH START now that my Medical Surprise is now behind me and I am getting back to my new normal and getting healthy to get going again where I left off. Now where were we….what were we doing? I need to get this floor cleaned up and painted and get this place opened and start PLAYING and having FUN here at our NEW Lil Studio!!

…..BTW, I had no idea, I had a bad heart in October 2021 by November 8th I was having my heart surgery, I was in Citrus Memorial Hospital for 11 days! It was the BEST Hospital Stay I could have ever asked for and be Blessed by, every single Doctor and Nurse and Nurse assistant provided me with STELLAR 5 STAR SERVICE with much Compassion and Care. I would highly recommend Citrus Memorial Hospital and BOTH Doctors Bao T. Hoang and Doctor Peter Kim as your Heart Surgeon if you need Heart Surgery. God Bless!

Mariah Harris ~ 4H Performing Arts Demonstration

4H Leisure & Performing Arts Demonstration in Citrus County Feb. 22nd, 2020.

This is Mariah Elizabeth Grace‘s first time presenting in a 4H event!

This was a special time for Mariah and I during her first year participating in any 4H Events. She had always been involved in the Girl Scouts, so everything 4H is new to her. This was a DEMO her explaining how she practices her lessons for her CLASSICAL GUITAR. She doesn’t have enough opportunities to show and tell and do PUBLIC SPEAKING, so this 4H Demonstration was perfect for her to polish her ‘act.’

Mariah showed the two Judges the FINGER PATTERNS of Tuka-Tuka-Pa-Pa & Up-Pony-Down-Pony as her Demo. Learning CLASSICAL GUITAR is more than learning the CHORDS, NOTES & STRUMMING. It’s all about the FINGER PATTERNS.

The two Judges usually asked the others that did previous demonstrations a few questions. Mariah finished her session and waited, for their questions, there were none….she was waiting for at least one question. I told her later that they were so surprised and shocked at how good she was that they. didn’t. know what to stay to her. We laughed big on that and enjoyed her accomplishment!

Mariah has a sweet sound to her practice once she gets into it. It’s nice for the listener that is nearby to have the pleasure of hearing her play.

She plays like an Angel!

Hey folks!! We found a place to start this DREAM!!! It’s a teeny small place, yet perfect for humble beginnings. It needs some good ol fashioned hard work to bring this little gem of a location up to speed for this project of ours. Fixing it up with a little bit of elbow grease, some flooring work especially. My plans are to use this opportunity to teach my daughter, Mariah some hands on skills for life. She has already learned how to use a paint scraper on one of the doors. Working side-by-side with my daughter on this adventure is our dream come true! Please join us in celebrating our New Beginnings! This will be the place to Make-N-Take Mosaic ART of something FUN & UNIQUE. Made out of all sorts of UNIQUE & SPARKLY OBJECTS.

It’s September 5th, 2021 time for an UPDATE on our Lil She Shed Studio.

We have most all of the walls all fixed and painted, some touch up and little details to do. 

The NEW ARTIST SINK is installed with running water no less!! It looks GREAT! We Love Our Sink!!!!

The MUSIC CORNER has the fake red brick with black grout paneling up and WOW!! Looks like

the Comedy Club Corner! A bit more fixing and painting and then onto the FLOOR!!!

We have a FUN Surprise planned for the FLOORS! *It’s a year later (March 26th, 2022) and I STILL need help with the dang floor!! I had to take a little detour in November to have heart surgery…..so I am doing things on a whole new pace.
